About Syracuse & Noto

Syracuse is one of Sicily’s most mesmerising cities. The rich number of Greek and Roman remains include a huge Greek theatre built here in the 5th-century BC. Combined with citrus orchards, cafes, and a lively atmosphere, you can easily lose yourself in the stylish splendour of this cosmopolitan, coastal getaway.

While you’re in Syracuse, we recommend a visit to the Museo Archeologico Regionale Paolo Orsi. One of the best museums in the city, history lovers will find a diverse range of collections to explore. There’s everything from ancient terracotta artifacts, to authentic Roman portraits and biblical scenes carved directly into marble.

From Syracuse, it’s a scenic 40km drive to one of Sicily’s most striking towns, Noto. Following a devastating earthquake in the 17th-century, the entire town was rebuilt. This means Noto is now famed for its narrow cobbled streets and opulent Baroque buildings, ranging from everyday houses to palaces and churches. One of our more contemporary and spacious luxury villas in Syracuse and Noto overlooks this pretty town, perfect for architecture addicts and Renaissance romantics.

The whole area seems to quietly demand some rest and relaxation, so let us arrange a deluxe spa treatment in the comfort of your villa. Lying by the pool, enjoying a massage in the summer sun, you’ll certainly have mastered the art of relaxation, Sicilian-style.
