About Castello Di Nettuno

Castello Di Nettuno sits at the very apex of the island of Capri, on a dramatic cliff that towers above the Marina Piccola on the southern coastline. Its elevated position affords it incredible views in all directions. This is certainly one of the most historic villas in Capri. Built on the site of an ancient Greek temple, it was one of the fabled twelve homes of the Roman Emperor Tiberius.

Sitting with a glass of wine on one of the many terraces, you too can’t help feeling rather imperial, with the mountain and island laid out below you. As you gaze down at the majestic Faraglioni rock formations rising dramatically out of the sea you’ll also feel a strong sense of connection to 2,000 years of history.

The castle was extensively restored by the noted engineer Roberto Adiolfi, who transformed it into a luxury villa, with four beautifully decorated bedrooms. The spacious open plan living room is right on the cliff’s edge, with large windows overlooking the dramatic landscape.

With over 350m2 of terraces and a forested lower garden, there is no shortage of places to relax in the sunshine and take in the unparallelled scenery: the swimming pool is perfect for a dip with a view, and the main terrace the ideal spot for alfresco dining.

With its unique history and dazzling views, Castello Di Nettuno is quite literally a villa fit for kings (and queens)!
