About the Dolomites

Our luxury ski chalets and hotels in Italy are set amidst some of Europe’s most scenic snowy paradises. Cortina d’Ampezzo offers wide empty pistes to a backdrop of the craggy Dolomites. It’s really good for beginners and also has some great cross-country ski trails to explore. Friendly Plan de Corones is a great entry point for the 12 ski areas that make up the vast Dolomiti Superski area. Coupled with one of the world's most modern gondola systems and more views of the pink-tinged Dolomite peaks, it’s very hard to beat. And you’ll find some of Italy’s best skiing in Selva Gardena with the huge Sella Ronda circuit to cruise, including the thrilling Val Gardena downhill race piste. Once belonging to Austria, the resort offers Tyrolean charm coupled with Austrian hospitality. Multi-coloured, traditional houses line the roads and attractive wooden chalets dot the mountain slopes. As you’d expect, the dining options in Italian ski resorts are multiple and exceptionally good. From mountainside huts serving up traditional dishes to keep you going on an exciting day’s skiing, to Michelin-starred restaurants offering the best in fine dining for unforgettable evenings out, there’s delicious food for even the most discerning palates.
